The bullish vibes in the air are palpable, and if you’re not riding this wave, you’re missing out on what’s shaping up to be a season of seriously promising signals for crypto!

Bitcoin’s Big Breakout 🎉
After a solid seven months in downtrend mode, Bitcoin’s breakout is confirmed. Yup, the chart says it all and it’s a beautiful sight to behold 🥲.

And if that wasn’t enough, this could very well be your last chance to grab some BTC at prices like these. Historically, when both September and October finish in the green, November’s no exception. Now we look for new ATHs in November. 📈

Why So Bullish? 🐂

Here’s the scoop on five reasons Bitcoin could be making a run for new all-time highs (ATHs) soon:

ETF Inflows 🚀
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have seen a flood of cash in October - $363M in average daily inflows since the 11th, with a jaw-dropping $870M this past Tuesday alone. That’s 27 times the daily Bitcoin production rate, with ETFs snapping up BTC faster than miners can even mint it!

Bitcoin’s Supply Shock 📉
With the April halving in the rearview, Bitcoin’s supply is tightening, right on cue. Combined with ETF inflow demands, this shrinking supply will work to drive up prices.

Matthew Sigel’s CNBC Bombshells 💥
This week, VanEck’s Matthew Sigel threw out some major BTC catalysts:

  • Countries like Argentina, Ethiopia, and the UAE are mining Bitcoin with government backing.

  • Russia and BRICS nations may soon use Bitcoin to settle trade.

  • Moody’s might downgrade U.S. debt post-election - a catalyst for BTC.

  • VanEck’s BTC projection? $3M per coin by 2050, thanks to central banks allocating reserves into BTC.

Rising Global Money Supply 🌎
Global M2 money supply hit an ATH of $91T in September, with China’s M2 reaching a record $27T. Since BTC’s long-term value often rises with money supply, this metric is key.

The ‘Trump Trade’ Theory
With Trump and Harris neck-and-neck in the polls, and Trump historically underperforming in surveys, some traders are betting a Trump win could give BTC prices a boost.

Speaking of Election Day…Wildcard 🎲
As we look at this bullish crypto backdrop, we’re also in for a crazy week ahead with the U.S. Presidential Election just days away. Historically, elections bring big volatility, so brace yourselves for some turbulence as the markets price in potential outcomes.

The Week’s Most Interesting News

This week…

  • 16 Years Ago - Bitcoin Whitepaper Day marks the release of the Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System, published by Satoshi Nakamoto on October 31, 2008

  1. Tether Refutes Government Investigation Rumors: Tether denies reports from The Wall Street Journal that it’s under federal investigation for alleged anti-money laundering violations. Tether called the claims “wildly irresponsible,” noting that no authorities confirmed the report. The rumors follow a campaign from Consumers’ Research pushing for greater transparency from Tether, but Tether’s CEO assured that USDT reserves remain robust, with significant assets in U.S. Treasuries, bitcoin, and gold.

  2. VanEck Launches Staking for Solana ETN: VanEck has partnered with staking service Kiln to offer Solana staking rewards for its European Solana fund, enabling investors to earn staking returns alongside SOL price gains. As one of the few regulated Solana products in Europe, this new feature aims to attract more users, adding a competitive edge in the Solana ETF space.

  3. Bhutan Sells $66M in Bitcoin as Price Surges Past $71K: The Bhutanese government has moved $66M worth of Bitcoin to Binance, likely preparing to cash in as BTC prices hit a new high. Despite the sale, Bhutan’s holdings still total approximately $886M, which could add more selling pressure. Bitcoin mining has played a crucial role in the country’s economy, funding public salaries and constituting nearly 27% of its GDP.

  4. MicroStrategy to Raise $42B for Bitcoin Over Next 3 Years: MicroStrategy unveiled plans to raise $42 billion via equity and debt offerings for Bitcoin acquisitions over the next three years. The company, holding over 252,000 BTC (worth $18 billion), aims to deepen its role as a "Bitcoin Treasury Company." This strategic move is part of their "21/21 Plan," despite no new BTC buys since September.

  5. Reddit Sells Off Majority of Bitcoin Holdings in Q3: Reddit sold most of its Bitcoin and Ethereum holdings last quarter, reducing its crypto exposure. The company noted the proceeds were “immaterial,” missing out on Bitcoin’s recent price surge but still holding some digital assets from its Collectible Avatars initiative. Reddit’s focus on crypto appears to be narrowing, with future investments in BTC and ETH now requiring board approval.

  6. BRICS Nations Eye Bitcoin as Alternative to U.S. Dollar: VanEck’s Matthew Sigel highlights BRICS nations’ interest in Bitcoin to reduce reliance on the U.S. dollar. Russia leads efforts to integrate Bitcoin into BRICS trade, which could reshape global finance and increase BTC demand.

  7. Florida CFO Advocates for Bitcoin in State Pension Funds: Florida CFO Jimmy Patronis has proposed a review to explore adding Bitcoin to the state’s $205 billion pension fund. Citing Bitcoin as “digital gold,” Patronis suggests a pilot program under Florida’s Growth Fund to diversify assets and hedge against traditional market volatility, following similar moves by states like Wisconsin and Michigan.

Hodl Up!

Election Day is Around the Corner…

As the U.S. election edges closer, we’re grabbing the popcorn, watching the charts, and embracing our inner zen. Volatility? Oh, it’s coming. That’s why we’re taking the “Watch & Hodl” approach for now. Nothing says high-risk like crypto markets stirred up with a little political spice. 🌶️

With Bitcoin breaking out of its slump and eyeing new ATHs, it’s a signal for all crypto prices to be on the move. We’re keeping a close watch on our shortlist for prime entry points. And because we’ve challenged ourselves to 10x our portfolio in 10 months, we’ve sprinkled in some lower market-cap potential gems and a couple of memecoins to keep things interesting. Think of it as the "10x potential" zone: riskier, yes, but also the stuff of crypto legend.

Here are just a few coins from our shortlist:

  • Top Coins

    • Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana - A must to understand the trend and accumulate for the long term

  • Mid-Cap Coins

    • Sui (SUI) - New Solana narrative (latest tech in blockchain)

    • THORChain (RUNE) - Real, live use case for Bitcoin DeFi

    • Render (RENDER) - AI narrative play, plus Apple partner news

    • Filecoin (FIL) - AI narrative play

  • Low-Cap & Meme Coins

    • Presearch (PRE) - Project revival happened recently

    • Railgun (RAIL) - Privacy layer for Ethereum, Vitalik likes

    • TAO INU (TAONU) - AI mixed with Memecoin narrative play

Hang tight, Hodlers! There’s more to the list and we’ll be back next week with fresh insights, some short-term moves and potential entry points for those coins on our watchlist.

Until then, keep calm and Hodl on.
